Choosing the right version of PO-MOtion

Both versions of PO-MOtion provide:

• Accurate motion tracking in a normally lit, indoor environment (classroom, office, store)
• Full support for all scenes, including Motion Maker scenes
• Tracking in stable lighting conditions (except direct sunlight)
• Regular bug fixes and updates

Choose PO-MOtion if:

• You are using a Mac or Windows machine
• You plan to use the system outside or in direct sunlight
• You want to use a regular USB web camera

Choose PO-MOtion IR if:

• You plan to use PO-MOtion in the dark or inconsistently lit places (not including direct sunlight)
• You are using a Windows computer running XP or higher
• You want to buy an X-Box Kinect sensor
• You want to control the depth sensing range (advanced feature)

System Requirements

To run PO-MOtion you will need:

Windows (XP or higher) or Mac (OSX) - dual core processor recommended. 3D scenes (Koi Pond, Coral Reef) run best on a quad-core processor. USB web-camera. Display device like a projector or TV. Video cable to connect the display device to your computer. Usually this is either VGA, HDMI or DVI

To run PO-MOtion IR you will need:

Windows (XP or higher) - dual core processor recommended. 3D scenes (Koi Pond, Coral Reef) run best on a quad-core processor. X-Box Kinect sensor. Display device like a projector or TV. Video cable to connect the display device to your computer. Usually this is either VGA, HDMI or DVI
